Elan Valley, photogrammetry, scans, workshop

On October 15th during our artist residency in Elan Valley in Wales we hosted a Tree D Scanning workshop. The participants learn how to make a 3D scan with the use of photogrammetry. The workshop takes place in a forest. The participants pick a tree, plant or something else that captures their attention and make enough photos as data to later generate a 3D model. Aside this we ask the participants to answer a set of questions about their object of choice and to do a number of observation exercises. One of the exercises is to draw the object. Krysia choose a rock for her photogrammetry session. On the left you see the result as well as the drawing of the rock.
